Midway Park Kates Orange turned out to be a straight-forward decision for Selwyn, who oozed confidence as he told the crowd what he was thinking.

Orange topped a class of aged cow class featured a  number of exciting entries, adding further credence to her victory.

"This class is great for the breed," Selwyn said. "To see a group of Ayrshire cows of this age with their udders still well above their hocks even though some of them are over nine years old is a credit to your breeders. But my class winner is clear here. She has tremendous style, balance and so much refinement, including a tremendous mammary system. 

"She also has an abundance of height and width in her rear udder and easy locomotion. She's the complet packagfe and she wins quite easily."

Intermediate champion came from the well-performed South Australian breeders, Cheryl Liebich. Cher-Bar TZ Incarnate is sired by Boldview Trizita. Reserve intermediate belonged to the Eagles partnership.
