Breeders from throughout Australia were at Finley for the recent Hallmark of Hillview Park milking herd dispersal sale of well known Holstein breeders Graham and Jane McPhee.

Hillview Park SS Eve sold for the second top price of $15,500 to the Garratty family, from Glenalbas Holsteins, Nowra Sale top of $20,500 was paid for the young cow Hillview Park Kendall Eve 2nd, who was classified VG89 max for age, making a big production record and backed by two VG dams. She was bought by the well known Luccombe herd of the White family of Finley. Next top price of $15,500 was paid by the Garratty family, Glenalbas Holsteins, Nowra NSW for Hillview Park SS Eve. This fourth generation VG Skywalker daughter had won the five-year-old class at the 2008 NSW State Show. The same buyers also selected the third top lot at $12,000 was the recently classified EX six-year-old, Hillview Park Aspen Evie. Victorian breeders Mark Norman and Toni Adams, of Invergordon, paid $10,000 for Hillview Park Durham Beryl VG86. Scott and Pip Robinson, of Eastview Holsteins, Zeerust paid $9000 for Hillview Park EP Eve 4th, a fifth generation VG three-year-old. Sunnyview Dairies of Craig Whatman, of Burrawang, NSW, selected several top lots including Hillview Park Dundee Pippa VG87 at $9000 and Hillview Park Raider Maida 6th at $8700. Stewart Cole of Forbes NSW paid $8100 for Murribrook Skychief Magdalene VG 88. Also at this price was Hillview Park Iron Maida 2 VG 86 selling to the partnership of Elmar Holsteins of Cohuna and R and L Blackburn, Burnvale Holsteins, WA. Hallyburton Farms of Cobden paid $8000 for Hillview Park Durham Eve 2, while Green Glory Holsteins of Broadmarsh, Tasmania paid same price for the top young show cow Hillview Park G Trix VG89, backed by 2 EX dams. Buyers came from all parts of New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania and Western Australia. Leading buyers were Downie Pastoral of Forbes, R and M Mason of Forbes, GE Menzies, of Moss Vale, and C Cowell, of Wagga Wagga.
